Janet A. Hoag (nato il 19 settembre 1948) è un'attrice cinematografica e televisiva americana.

Dall'inizio degli anni 1990, Hoag è apparso in diverse serie televisive, tra cui La Signora in Giallo, Step by Step, Sposati ... con figli, Melrose Place, Murphy Brown, Providence, Giudice Amy, The Norm Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 8 semplici regole, Desperate Housewives, Una mamma per amica, Boston Legal, Mad Men e altri, anche se sempre a giocare personaggi minori. Di recente, ha recitato in Glee ospite nell'episodio "I Kissed a Girl", ma ancora una volta aveva un ruolo minore.

E 'anche apparsa in alcuni film, come il dentista, Progeny, Raising Flagg e Wild.

E' un personaggio ricorrente nella nuova commedia horror Scream Queens, nel ruolo di Agatha Bean.
